Wichita Falls, Tex. — This June, 2INgage joins communities across Texas in recognizing Family Reunification Month, honoring the resilience of families and the meaningful work that helps children safely return home. This year’s theme,“The Heart of Home,” reflects the deep connection that defines family and belonging.

Reunification is a process built on trust, accountability and support. When families are given the tools and opportunity to grow, the path home becomes possible.

One Texas family experienced that transformation firsthand. After their child entered care, a parent committed to rebuilding stability—attending services, strengthening parenting skills and maintaining consistent visits. With the support of case managers, foster families and community providers, the family was able to reunify. Today, the child is home, surrounded by stability, connection and renewed hope.

“Reunification takes time, effort and a strong support system working together,” said Kaycee Robles, 2INgage Senior Vice President. “When families have the resources they need and people who believe in their potential, incredible change can happen. That’s the heart of this work.”

In Fiscal Year 2025, 2INgage supported 278 successful family reunifications across the Texoma and Big Country region, helping children safely return home.

While this progress is important, the need for support remains.

Foster parents play a vital role in reunification—providing safe, temporary homes while supporting connections between children and their families. The most impactful foster caregivers are those who understand their role in helping families heal and ultimately reunite.

2INgage is calling on community members to become foster parents who are committed to supporting reunification. By opening their homes and hearts, these families help make reunification not just possible, but successful.

“Being a foster parent means walking alongside a family during one of the most important moments of their lives,” Robles added. “You are part of helping a child return home stronger.”
